Stages of a home theater and home automation project: audio, video,
and lighting automation with dimmable LEDs,
security, telephony traditional and IP.
Hexsolutions Home Automation began its activities in February 2010. Its founders and collaborators have over 14 years of experience in the audio & video and residential/commercial automation field. During this period, numerous residential and corporate projects have been completed, including lighting control, audio & video automation, alarm systems, security cameras, and telephony, consistently exceeding our clients’ expectations and fostering partnerships with architects, decorators, and construction companies.
What we do: We develop infrastructure projects and oversee their execution for the installation of home theater and residential/commercial automation (allowing for future expansions). Automation integrates the environments of a residence/business, enabling the control of lighting, air conditioning, curtains, home theater, meeting rooms, auditoriums, and ambient sound systems via smartphone, tablet, or universal remote control.
We sell equipment nationwide and provide support from the project phase to the final delivery of the work. We also offer equipment maintenance when necessary.
A well-planned home theater and residential automation project should include innovative equipment and be open to updates. Our services range from infrastructure design (at the beginning of the project) to programming and delivery to the client (final stage).
Between these two extremes, we have project management and site supervision during the infrastructure stages, cable routing automation, audio and video, background music, data/WI-FI network, telephony, electronic security, and monitoring cameras. At this stage, we will already specify the necessary equipment for the initial project and provide an estimate for future expansions. Then, there’s the installation and setup of the equipment, including home theater, audio and video, and other systems in this project.
Once everything is ready and tested, we perform system customization for audio and video systems, programming of the automation center, and other systems.
Stages of a home theater and residential automation project:
Audio and video: home theater, home cinema, dedicated cinema room, indoor and outdoor sound systems, customized solutions for televisions and projectors (screens, lifts, flaps).
Automation: dimmable lighting control, on-off, Dali, curtains, blinds, and motors, in addition to conventional methods, also using radio frequency, both indoors and outdoors, control and management of the HVAC system (air conditioning, underfloor heating, towel rails).
Security: monitoring cameras (conventional and IP), electronic locks, door and gate opening, biometrics, facial recognition, RFID. Data network and structured cabling.
Structured Cabling
The Hexsolutions team inspects the construction site to verify the infrastructure project and dry piping. Once approved by the technical inspection team, the process of laying down the cabling for data, audio & video, and automation begins. Following this, we proceed with the installation of embedded boxes, screens, lifts, among other components.
Installation: Audio and Video
When the construction reaches the final stage, with clean environments and carpentry ready, we begin the installation process. This step is as important as defining the equipment used in the project. Proper configuration determines the smooth operation and ease of use of the audio & video and residential automation system.
Programming: Automation and Lighting
This is perhaps one of the most important stages of the project because it’s precisely the moment to develop a fully customized programming, such as dimmable lighting control, on-off/Dali, curtains, blinds, and motors. Ease of operation and comfort during use are the main objectives.
Completion: We can call it the finishing touch.
This is the moment to test the entire system, the last changes made at the customer’s request, and finally, the technical delivery. Hexsolutions guides on how to use the system. The client receives a folder with all documentation of the executed project, including: Project, photos, installation diagram, and user manuals.
Maintenance
The systems and equipment we work with are of extremely high quality, but over time they may need a check-up. We work to keep our systems always at their high potential of operation and quality. We also offer preventive and corrective maintenance contracts to our clients. These contracts include monthly visits to perform some software updates on the equipment and a general system check-up (audio and video, automation, security, and data communication network) to identify any potential faults.
